KIPONA MUSIC
KIPONA Music is a female label dedicated to the performing arts. Its objective is to encourage female artists in Lubumbashi to develop and carry their projects over time, by giving them access to tools that will allow them to develop, raise their profile, and export their projects. KIPONA Music is a launching structure for new projects, new artists but also a development structure for more advanced projects or artists. It is thus addressed to ALL artists evolving in the field of the performing arts without distinction of age, years of experience or art or style. KIPONA Music is the spokesperson for these artists, halfway between the manager and the press agent. It is a solid and trusted intermediary between the artist and the administrative and technical discussions with employers, the media, and all the stakeholders that the artist faces in his development. In addition to the professional services it offers, the structure will remain a point of contact to which each woman artist can come to ask for advice or refer when she needs it, as long as she is at least a member of the structure KIPONA Music and has signed the membership charter. This project, which started in Lubumbashi, aims to work in collaboration with partner structures in Lubumbashi, Kinshasa and Belgium. It will also aim to encourage collaborations between artists, whether regional, national or international, and to support the distribution, circulation and dissemination of artistic works. It is from the notions of solidarity, collaboration, and work that we want to create the structure with these women, for these women and the generations of female artists to come.
