ABOUT DAWA 2.0

DAWA 2.0 asbl is a structure born in 2014, which aims to develop musical, cultural and interdisciplinary projects.

Through its multiple projects, DAWA 2.0 wants to promote and facilitate meetings between artists and disciplines.

Since its creation, DAWA 2.0 has been at the initiative of many projects, including the creation of the Creative music school (CREAMS), one of the first music schools to give Djing and electronic music courses in Brussels.

In 2018 it created the music label, Deninga Music and the first album produced by the label is Shy Girl, which is the fourth album of Sarah Carlier.

The year 2020 has been devastating for many cultural projects and structures and has reinforced the will to develop more exchange projects based on interdisciplinarity.

Since then, DAWA 2.0 has been working on setting up a space combining second-hand sales and cultural experiences such as concerts, exhibitions and other innovative artistic meetings and performances.

Finally, after a first exchange and set up in Lubumbashi (DRC) in 2022, DAWA 2.0 in collaboration with Manus asbl (DRC) is working on the creation of the first female music label in Congo, KIPONA Music, which is planned for early 2023.
